IT'S TIME TO PRAY

Image
*MORNING REFLECTION* By Oligbo Anthony Chukwuma * IT'S TIME TO PRAY* *O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.* -- Psalms 84:8 KJV  It's time to pray, particularly as  the month of February ends today. 1. Father, I thank you for today being the last day of the month of February. 2. Father, may your mercy continue to keep and preserve me this day and all through this year. 3. Father, help me to make progress this year, according to your plan and intention for my life. 4. Father, I pray for the salvation of the souls of men. Let men all around the world be saved from their sins in Jesus name, Amen. 5. Father, draw me closer to you this year and make my life profitable to the kingdom. * Thank you Lord for hearing us dear Lord for it's in Jesus name I have prayed, Amen!*

HELPING ONE ANOTHER

Image
*MORNING REFLECTION* by Oligbo, Anthony Chukwuma. * HELPING ONE ANOTHER *And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.* -- Acts 2:42 KJV These are difficult times in the country, Nigeria. The prices of food stuffs and items in general have sky rocketed.  Thus living for some, has become a big ordeal as they lack the financial ability to cater for the home front daily. Some families are on 0-1-0, others, 0-0-1, while the fortunate are on 0-1-1 or 1-0-1. These are the reality on ground. You may receive a call for help, you may not. However, do not wait to until you receive one, help one another. Care for one another. If you're a salary earner, keep a portion of your salary for charity, the same applies to business owners.  Do not concentrate alone on your family. Pay a surprise check on someone, bless someone today. The apostles were known to share the burdens of one another. Remember, a problem shar...

YOUR PRESENCE, A PRESENT TO THE WORLD

Image
*MORNING REFLECTION* *YOUR PRESENCE, A PRESENT TO THE WORLD* * Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.* -- Isaiah 60:15 KJV  Our presence should bring hope, joy and gladness to lives. Men ought to see our lives and rejoice in the God of our salvation. Until we get to the point where our lives become a joy-giver , then, we I own no right to the picture. can now say that we are living in our purpose. Your life can be a present to the world by: 1. Having a relationship with God.  2. Knowing and working in your purpose. 3. Employing your gifts to serve humanity. 4. Acquiring skills, honing them & using them to bless humanity and for the glory of God. 5. Being selfless & diligent. Has your life brought joy & and gladness to your generation? Jesus, Joseph, Daniel and Apostle Paul are good examples for those whose lives flowed into others and blessed them. M...

MAKE THE MOVE

Image
I do not own the right to the picture. *MORNING REFLECTION* By Oligbo Anthony Chukwuma * MAKE THE MOVE* * And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?* *If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.* -- 2 Kings 7:3-4 KJV  Do not bemoan your condition, just make that positive move. To move forward in life. You must damage your excuses and find ways to advance yourself this year. When you cry, complain, frown and give excuses, the problem apparently doesn't go away. The only thing that takes away the problem is a step of faith. The lepers from the text, felt that death was eminent, so they decided to make the move and that move, turned them into living legends . What...

THE JOY OF TOGETHERNESS

Image
*MORNING REFLECTION* By Oligbo, Anthony Chukwuma * THE JOY OF TOGETHERNESS* * The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.* -- 2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV Good morning dear reader. Today we shall examine the joy of togetherness & communion. The married folks will understand this a little more. Once you're in sync with your partner, you'll enjoy the presence of each other. Jesus said , 'I and my father are one'. What he meant was that he enjoyed the fellowship they both shared and that they were together. Today, I employ you to be together with the blessed Holy spirit. Follow his dictates. Listen to his heart beats and love what he loves. Being sync with the Holy spirit guarantees: 1. Protection against harm. 2. Divine direction. 3. Divine provision. 4. Divine empowerment 5. Intimacy of spirit, soul and body . There is a joy found in this togetherness with the Holy spirit, move closer to...

PREACH THE GOSPEL

Image
MORNING REFLECTION BY Oligbo, Anthony Chukwuma. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. -- Mark 16:15-16 KJV  It's your duty as a believer to preach the gospel. This is one task our Lord Jesus gave us to do before leaving the earth. Some are shy and tell themselves they can't preach. To those, it's important they ask the Holy spirit to fill them up. When he does, they'll become bold . Others say they don't know the word of God. This calls for study. We are to study to show ourselves approved. However sharing our testimonies is another effective way to do so, because they are the evidences of God's word coming through for us. Today you're enjoined to preach the word, by living the Christian life, spending for the cause of the gospel, praying for the harvest and going out yourself. God owes no one. As ...

My Daddy, My Daddy

*MORNING REFLECTION* BY Oligbo Anthony Chukwuma * My Daddy, My Daddy* * And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me:* *nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.* -- Mark 14:36 KJV  God is seen by some believers as one _headmaster_ with a cain to wip them. While to some, he is seen as that loving father, who loves them so much. Such that they can call him my Daddy, my Daddy. What's your relationship with God? Can it be likened to the headmaster and the Cain or one filled with love, mutual trust and understanding. If asked, I'll choose the later, won't you! This is however not without some efforts. It comes with a total surrendered life, love for God and an obedient heart that obeys the instructions of God. My Daddy, my Daddy! And He says to me Son, son! (Daughter, Daughter) Prayer: May my relationship with you be cordial till eternity. Let nothing take me away from you my Daddy. Kindly reach out to the author via tonyolig...

NO MORE OPPRESSION

Image
*MORNING REFLECTION* By Oligbo, Anthony Chukwuma 7/2/24 *NO MORE OPPRESSION* And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. -- Isaiah 49:26 KJV  TODAY 'S topic is prophetic. You shall no longer be oppressed in Jesus name, Amen.  When one is oppressed, that individual cannot cannot attain, his or her full potential. Oppression occurs in the life of an individual when he or she is prevented from being free from the shackles of the enemy. The Israelites, for 430 years we're in pains, captivity, servitude and could not attain their full potential, which was to serve the Lord. Brethren, there are many that keep pushing and trying out things to move their lives forward, but a force keep holding them back. It could be in the area of business, relationship, career, family and even spirituality, ...

STAY GRATEFUL

Image
*MORNING REFLECTION* * STAY GRATEFUL* * And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.* *So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.* -- 2 Samuel 6:14-15 KJV "Thank ma, Thank sir," Simisola said to her benefactor. Would I call it  _Nigerian English_? What she actually meant was thank you ma, thank you sir, she said to Engr. Kolade and wife seated on the sofa with his legs on a stool, observing the way she genuflected. He thought in his heart, this girl has respect, she is grateful for what we have done for her. Anyone that is grateful to God for His benevolence will always get more from God. God will be happy with such a person and will naturally want to do more. David had no restrictions when He gave thanks. In fact he danced to the point that his wife disdained him. Today, let's remind ourselves to be grateful to the one who * has given u...

MY PROMOTION HAS COME

Image
*MORNING REFLECTION* By Oligbo, Anthony Chukwuma * MY PROMOTION HAS COME* Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, in the province of Babylon. -- Daniel 3:30 KJV Holy Bible Promotion is a lifting in ones job or vocation. When this occurs, he or she may most likely have a higher pay or better condition of service.  I Sam 2:6-7, highlights that God is the one who promotes. He lifts up one and brings down another. Promotion isn't only job related, it transcends to other areas of our lives endeavour. For example, when a single marries, he/she has been promoted. When a barren conceive, when a tenant does his house warming, when you purchase  properties amongst others. I pray for you this year, in the mighty name of Jesus, * you shall be promoted.* You just be * faithful in serving the Lord, be diligent in your place of work and in all you do, ask God for his mercy and rejoice with others when they are promoted. * What you celebrate in the lives of others...

WAIT ON GOD

* MORNING REFLECTION*  * WAIT ON GOD* *The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.* *It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.* -- Lamentations 3:25-26 Many have waited, but midway into their waiting they throw in the towel. They become tired and give up. Others have sought to do it their own way, in the believe that God is too slow. Sarah did that, by allowing her maid to lie with her husband, Abraham and she got her fingers burnt. Even the world is suffering from that decision that Sarah took. Today's charge admonishes that you should wait on the Lord. No matter the problem; late marriage, lack of job, lack of children, lack of finance, etc, it is in your best interest to wait on God, so you would not live a life of regret. I pray the good Lord visits you early and satisfy all your needs in Jesus name, Amen. * Prayer* *Father, pls come through for me early this year. I shall not make the wrong move in Je...
